- Is the registration fee for administrative costs? Muslim CARE is operated by volunteers, keeping administrative costs minimal. The registration fee establishes a reserve fund to ensure immediate funds are available for funeral expenses before member contributions are collected.
- How do I pay my fees? We only accept Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT), also known as pre-authorized payments or debits. Funds will be withdrawn directly from your bank account. This includes the one-time registration fee and contributions after a member’s passing.
- When is my membership activated? Your membership is activated 90 days after your application is reviewed and approved by the Muslim CARE committee. Your registration fee will be withdrawn after your membership becomes active.

- Can I include my family on my membership? Yes, your membership covers your spouse and dependent children under 25 who live at the same address.
- What happens when my children turn 25 or get married before 25? When your children turn 25, they must apply for their own membership. If they marry before 25, they also need a separate membership. In both cases, the registration fee will be waived.
- Are my parents covered under my membership? No, parents require their own separate memberships. However, if you are an active member, the registration fee will be waived for your parents.
